Feedback
Menocle is built by listening to women going through this — in our beta, and in the reviews they leave for every other menopause app. Everything below the form changed because someone said so.
Thank you — it's read by the person who builds Menocle. If you left an email and there's a question or a fix, you'll hear back.
Closing the loop
Paraphrased from our beta testers and from public reviews of other menopause apps. We don't quote anyone here without their permission.
Android wasn't an option — Menocle was iPhone only.
Menocle for Android. Free on Google Play since September 2026, with the same encryption. Your key stays on your phone, and a recovery key opens your backup on a new one.
An app update wiped months of tracking — right before a specialist appointment.
Export as a spreadsheet. Every day you've logged, one row each, opens in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets. Yours to keep, whatever happens to any app — including ours.
After a hysterectomy, with a hormonal IUD or an ablation, there's no option for "no periods" — the tracker assumes a cycle you don't have.
A path with no periods. Tell Menocle why periods don't apply and the period tracker steps aside. Your doctor page says why, and the month view looks for a rhythm in your symptoms instead.
There's no calendar view, so patterns across a month are impossible to see.
The month view. One square a day, darker on harder days, with period starts marked. Tap any day to see what you logged. It also checks whether harder days bunch up.
Headaches (or itching, or palpitations) aren't on the list — and there's nowhere to write what actually happened.
Your own symptoms, and a note for each day. Add up to eight symptoms in your own words; they go on your doctor page. The note stays private — never on the doctor page.
Cyclical progesterone — days 16–25, or two weeks on and two off — can't be tracked, and it's easy to lose count of when to start again.
HRT and medication schedules. Days on and off, set days for a patch, every few days. The check-in tells you if today is an on day or a break, and your doctor page lists what you took, and when.
Switching apps means starting again from zero — years of history left behind.
Import from Apple Health. On iPhone, one permission brings in period dates from period-tracking apps that write to Apple Health, including Apple Cycle Tracking, plus symptoms you logged in Apple Health. Read-only, on your phone, and nothing you logged in Menocle is ever overwritten.
From our beta: after updating a check-in, there was no way to tell it had saved.
Feedback you can feel. A tap you feel on every answer, a clear "Saved ✓", and a line saying what that day added — no streaks to break.
